Edraw defines some project management diagram types, and divides them into five categories. Every project management type has specific shapes and examples.

Project Management

Calendar is used to create working calendar schedule, weekly task schedule.

Gantt Chart is for the creation of Gantt chart for project schedule.

PERT Chart is invented to create PERT charts and timeline for project or task management, timetables, work breakdown structures, critical path method, project lifecycles, goal setting, schedules and agendas.

Matrix Diagram shows a progression or sequential steps in a task, process, or workflow.

Timeline is used to create linear timelines with milestones and interval markers.

Flowchart is often used to define and document basic work and data flows, financial, production and quality management processes to increase efficiency of you business.

BPMN is a graphical representation for specifying business processes in a workflow.

mind map

Mind Map is a creativity technique in which ideas are generated in order to solve a problem. It is mainly used for brainstorming, problem solving, rational analysis, and decision marking.

Data Flow Diagram is a significant modeling technique for analyzing and constructing information processes.

list

List is used to draw commonly used list, block list, picture list and table list.

Process is used to show a progression or sequential steps in a task, process, or workflow.
